brilliant MENTORs working is an organization that focuses primarily on mentoring at-risk student-athletes in the city of Philadelphia. Pairing mentoring with athletics combines two effective means of engaging kids. While each is valuable on its own, when used together athletics and mentoring foster a relationship that transcends the classroom and the playing field.

brilliant MENTORs working believes it is possible to positively impact a child’s life in its most formative years through sports. We aim to accomplish this goal through energetic coaches, committed mentors, and a variety of sports/activities.

The goals of our organization are centered around the idea of “focusing on THE future,” and our efforts are  a combination of many different perspectives that we have had the opportunity to be exposed to. The goal of our group is simply to “PAY it FORWARD” by sharing these experiences for the benefit of OTHERS.

MiSSiON:

to influence, educate, inspire, and empower every young person to reach their greatest potential, while utilizing sports and other activities as vehicles for social improvement.

ViSiON:

to build communities that function TOGETHER as a TEAM by destroying barriers that exist as a result of socioeconomic status, racial beliefs,  religious values, or gender preference, thus allowing equal opportunities for ALL
